WHO IS THE SCHOOL OF CAPTAINS SUITABLE FOR?
Those who need an international yacht license IYT to rent sailing yachts in different countries.
BASIC INFORMATION:
Captains School - this is a skipper training course where students learn to sail a cruising sailing yacht.
IYT (International Yacht Training) - one of the most popular and recognized training systems for yacht captains in the world.
Durationintegrity: 14 days.
Number of participants: no more than 5 people.
Basic marina: Tivat, Montenegro.
Requirements: minimum experience of sailing on any sailing yachts.

- join to our training and travels,
- pass the Course for beginner yachtsmen at Bora Sailing Club (intensive format for 4 days).
SCHEDULE:
DAY 1: introduction of the group, control of the yacht on courses, turns. Main nodes and terminology.
DAY 2 : arming and disarming the boat, guiding the yacht to different targets relative to the wind. More delicate work with sails. Sorceresses. Passing the tack and the full course. How to stop a yacht. More nodes. Courses relative to the wind.
DAY 3 : how sailing races work and how to complete the racing distance. Fine tuning upwind and downwind. Rules for sailing and types of sailing boats. Which way should you choose in selling?
DAY 4 : your first sailing regatta - show everyone what you have learned!

THE COURSE INCLUDES:
- LOGBOOK - a personal diary to track progress throughout the course.
