IVAN GUREEV
Founder of Bora Sailing Club,
sailing instructor, teacher
28 years. He is a physicist by training and has been in love with sails since childhood. Having read books about sails, Vanya dreamed of something with three masts, and at the age of 11 he was given the Optimist, so he had to start on it.
Vanya is a professional athlete, multiple champion of Moscow, prize-winner and winner of the Russian Cup stages in the Finn Olympic class, as well as other competitions. Sailing coach for over 7 years.




GRIGORY GEDULIANOV
Sailing instructor Bora Sailing Club
34 years. Master of Sport,raced in the 470 class
as part of the Russian national team.
He took prizes at Russian Championships and Cups, participated in the European and World Championships in the 470 class.

POLINA KANDZYUBA
Sailing instructor Bora Sailing Club
28 years. I came to yachting based on an advertisement that I saw on the elevator doors. She began training on Luch dinghies, and later became a sailing instructor.
Education: Moscow State University, faculty of physics.
Hobbies: snowkiting and photography




VLADIMIR AKHALTSEV
Sailing instructor Bora Sailing Club
Yacht captain.
A lawyer by training.
Before his yachting history, he sang in an academic choir and led various solo musical projects.
During the pandemic, I saw an advertisement for yachting licenses and came to my first sailing training. Since then, the roll, sails and thirst for adventure have won his heart.




VITALIY STIMOSHENKO
Head of Bora Sailing Club Base in Belgrade
Instructor at Bora Sailing Club on “J/70” and “Melges 20” classes, certified IYT skipper, and racing sailor.
He has been sailing since childhood, starting with the “Optimist” and “Laser.” Currently, he leads cruising trips as a captain in Turkey and Montenegro, and takes part as an instructor in the “Bora Super Cup” races in Montenegro on J/70 boats.


VYACHESLAV KASHAEV
Sailing Instructor at Bora Sailing Club in Belgrade
Master of Sports with 14 years of sailing experience.
Champion of the Russian Cup, winner and medalist of major international regattas.
He has been sailing since childhood, starting with the “Optimist” and “Laser.”
Participates as a skipper in regattas in Turkey — Marmaris International Race Week, Gocek International Race Week.
Acts as an instructor at regattas in Belgrade on “Melges 20” boats and is responsible for technical matters at the Belgrade base.

DIANA SAMOKHINA
Administrator of the Belgrade Base, Sailing Instructor at Bora Sailing Club
Economist and analyst, specialist in banking reporting and data visualization. Graduate of MGIMO.
Experienced in financial data, reporting automation, and client analytics. She has also developed educational and sports programs, working with both children and adult audiences.
Has been engaged in sailing for over 15 years. Progressed from the “Optimist” to the “470” class, and took part in regattas in the “Laser 4.7” and “Laser Radial” classes.

MARIA TAGANOVA
Base Administrator in Belgrade, Head of Marketing and Development
A marine biologist specializing in marine mammals and a participant in 11 scientific expeditions to the Arctic.
Maria can’t imagine her life without the sea and its inhabitants, with a special place in her heart reserved for beluga whales. She loves inspiring people to fall in love with the ocean and sharing her knowledge about its fascinating and mysterious creatures.
She discovered sailing in 2022 and quickly became passionate about it. Today, together with the team, she is developing the Bora Sailing Club base in Belgrade.



WINDY
Fluffy Assistant at the Belgrade Base
Responsible for the emotional well-being of participants, loves tomatoes and strawberries.
Greets and sees off everyone who comes to the base!
