• The regatta is an offshore race
• Basic sailing experience is recommended

• Professional racers will be on board with you to help you overcome any difficulties and teach you everything they know.

An offshore regatta is a long-distance sailing race (several hundred nautical miles) in the open sea, which takes place over several days without stops.
In general terms about everything

Start in the heart of Istanbul
The start under the Bosphorus bridges is one of the most spectacular moments of the Turkish yachting season.

550 miles of non-stop sailing
The long distance, changing weather conditions, night passages and difficult navigation make the regatta a real test for the team.

Our racing projectile
We are sailing on one of the fastest Maxi yachts in Turkey, the yacht is made entirely of carbon and is therefore super fast

Competitors
The regatta features crews from Turkey, and professional offshore racers from various countries come to the race.

Race route
The regatta passes through two straits – the Bosphorus and the Dardanelles – connecting several sea areas and requiring high concentration and tactical thinking from the crews.

Wind conditions
During the regatta period, the Meltemi, a steady northerly and north-easterly summer wind, prevails, strengthening during the day and creating stable, but tactically demanding racing conditions.
