J/70 Helmsman Course

Club license for independent sailings on a J/70 sport yacht

Training on a J/70 sport sailing yacht

Ivan Gureev, founder of Bora Sailing Club

"Do you want to gather friends, family, take a yacht and go for a walk around the Bay of Kotor without an instructor? Or maybe Lake Garda?) Or maybe somewhere else? Then this course is for you! Based on the results of the training, you will get the opportunity rent a sports sailing yacht J/70 without an instructor not only from Bora Sailing Club, but also from our partner clubs!”

WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?

This course is for those who no longer need to be told the difference between jib and mainsail and tack and breaches!
If you don't, that's okay, sign up for our J/70 beginners course.

But if you already know the terminology and basic sail handling skills, it's time to take J/70 to the next advanced level! And for that we will learn all the necessary skills.

Structure:

- Day 1 to 6: 1 lesson per day, duration - 3.5 hours, theory + practice,

- Day 7: exam.

Yachts: J/70 sport yachts - equally good for those who want to try sailing and for advanced sailors! It is on these and similar yachts that our club license will allow you to sail. You can rent a yacht for racing or cruising: from us in Porto Montenegro and from our partner clubs (Zig Zag, X-Sailing, MoreSolka, as well as from our friends on Lake Garda and in Kaliningrad).
